New York City native Monica Botkier started her career in fashion photography. Shooting for many popular fashion magazines, Monica developed a vast knowledge of handbags. With this knowledge, she created the popular Botkier brand. Monica’s talent as a photographer gave her an ability to mix functionality with style, which can be seen in all Botkier handbags. Monica’s goal with Botkier is to create quality handbags that are functional and stylish. Botkier continues to create new and exciting handbags that are designed for real women through intricate detailing and innovative shapes. Silhouettes include the classic hobo, satchel and clutch, as well as larger style handbags such as totes and duffels. With a combination of intriguing hardware and quality leather, Botkier captures an edgy look with a hint of seduction. And sitting right under the high-end designer labels price-range, Botkier handbags are accessible as well as being luxurious.

Reviews of Botkier:

What a terrific bag! Typically scrumptious Botkier leather. Nice size (if you don’t like a really huge bag). Strap is just the right length (non-adjustable). Too bad these purse companies can’t get it through their designer heads a LIGHT colored interior is best…upbeat design but not overwhelmed with do-dads. Functional and stylish. What could be better???

Just what i was hoping for. High quality, super cool, and extremely practical. Cross-body bags are usually way too big or way too tiny. This is the perfect size. I needed a bag for running errands with a toddler and this is perfect. My hands are free, I am comfortable, and it is big enough for his water and snacks and all my lot without weighing me down, and I get to feel young and cool and not like a frumpy mom. Plus, the bag is simply gorgeous and well made.
